This NSERC Discovery program engineers new game technology and tests whether it improves people’s lives, from exergames that get people moving to gameful systems for learning and wellbeing. It is the lab’s core long-term research program, and recent outputs include ExerCube vs. Virtual Reality and Born to Run, Programmed to Play, a map of the extended reality exergames landscape.
