Children with dyslexia often lose motivation to read long before they lose the ability to improve. This mixed-methods study asks what sustains their reading-literacy motivation and what undermines it, drawing on the lab’s long record of motivation research in games and gamification. Lennart leads it as principal investigator with SSHRC funding.
